Dialogue
BBC presenter: Hello, Grey Owl. Can I ask you some questions?
Grey Owl: Yes, you can.
BBC presenter: How old were you when you decided to move to Canada?
Grey Owl: When I decided it I was 18 years old.
BBC presenter: Why did you decide it?
Grey Owl: I decided it because my favourite stories were about Canada and Native Americans. I wanted to learn about Native Americans life.
BBC presenter: What did you do when you arrived in Canada?
Grey Owl: First I met Bill Guppy and his brothers. They taught me how to paddle a canoe, and different kinds of axes and traps.
BBC presenter: What did you do during the following years?
Grey Owl: I learnt to hunt many animals with many traps. I learnt too that I mustn’t use explosives to hunt, because I destroy their lodge and I kill many animals. I also began to dye my hair black and use henna to dye my skin brown. I felt like an Indian.
BBC presenter: Why did you decide to establish a beaver colony?
Grey Owl: Because I adopted two beaver kits, because they were orphans. They grew with me and I wanted to protected them. I thought: “If I establish a beaver colony, the beavers can live without trappers and peacefully”. Then, I started with the conferences, films, books… I always did it with Anahareo, my friend.
BBC presenter: How did you feel when you explained to the people about the life in nature?
Grey Owl: I felt that they were learning about the nature, how to protect it and how to care about it.
BBC presenter: And when you went to England?
Grey Owl: I felt that I was important at that moment, because everybody knew me, and maybe later they would learn how to care about the nature.
BBC presenter: Ok, thanks for you answers. Good bye!

STORY STARTERS
It was one of those days when everything seemed to go wrong. I was always bad, I felt that everybody avoided me and I was lost in my mind. I felt that I couldn’t speak to anybody. But one day, a friend said to me:
-Days ago, I saw you very sad. What’s happening? Have you got any problem with anybody?
-No, I haven’t. I’m well, don’t worry.
-Please, don’t lie to me! Your eyes don’t say the same. Your eyes say that you have got a big problem.
In a few words, I felt that she was trustworthy and I told her my problem. She listened to me very carefully. Then, she told me her opinion and she said to me:
-Don’t worry, if you ever need help, you must know that I’m always here and that I’ll always be your friend. Do you know what friends are like? They are at good and bad moments of your life.
-Yes, I know. But days ago I felt distanced with people and I felt that nobody accept me.
-I repeat you: don’t worry. Every problem has a solution.
A few days later, she started meeting new friends and solved the problems with her other friends. She was better with everybody. That returned her her hapinnes.
